Chelsea

Chelsea is the Head Trainer here at Kazien Horse Training and Lessons. She has been riding and showing horses since she was 8 years old; in 2014 she attended AQHA Level 1 Novice Championship and earned Reserve Champion in Hunter Under Saddle. The following year, she dedicated to working and preparing to start training horses for others. Her commitment to proper movement, humane treatment of horses, and rider development shows in all aspects of her business. Chelsea loves the process of taking a rider and watching them blossom into a horseman, just as much as she enjoys seeing horses meet their true potential. With the belief that there is always room for growth and improvement, Chelsea continues her education in horsemanship and equitation. She strives to pass her knowledge on to others, so they may also be caring and gentle equestrians.

Chelsea Reynolds is a showcased Monroe, MI horseback riding lessons instructor on NewHorse.com!

I was greatly impressed with how [Chelsea] handles and teaches her students, and the way she rode as well...  She is clearly knowledgeable, and has a major passion for the industry.

Alex

Alex is the full time intern and a huge part of Team Kaizen. She is studying to develop her ability as a coach and teacher of young equestrians. She enjoys working with kids and teaching them about something she has been passionate about her whole life. Alex's favorite thing about working at Kaizen is the people! She loves that it feels like family at the barn and that we get to build such a great relationship with our students. We cherish Alex as a team member, and look forward to watching her students grow into amazing riders and horse handlers.

The Owners

Chelsea and Kristopher own and run Kaizen Horse Training and Lessons. Together they have spent over 25 years working with horses, and have worked hard to develop a program that suits beginners and advanced riders of all ages. Running an equine business as a team has allowed them to bring their individual talents to the table, maintaining focus on both the training and personal relationships with our clients. It is extremely important to Chelsea and Kristopher that we maintain the safety of our students and care of our horses as our primary concerns. They pride themselves in having the best clients in the world, and always doing what is best for the animals.
